Business NSW Awards Project Displaced the Sydney City Regional Most Outstanding Start-Up Title for 2021

We are thrilled to have been recognised as this year's winner amongst a group of equally outstanding start-ups and are humbled to be in their company.

The Sydney City Business Awards held in partnership with the City of Sydney recognises growth, entrepreneurship and celebrates business success from across the Sydney central business district and surrounding inner city suburbs. It is one of the most diverse economies and makes a major contribution to the State’s economy through professional services, hospitality, tourism and high-tech manufacturing.

Project Displaced started in March 2020 because we recognised that thousands of people all across Australia were about to experience either job loss or were about to be stood down through no fault of their own. We know that some people haven't had to look for a job for a long time and others would need help coping with the sudden change, loss of income, loss of identity and the stress that causes them and their families.

We believe that professional career coaching and mental health support should be freely available to anyone that needs it. Which is why we connect job seekers to a network of professional coaches, HR managers, recruiters, mindset coaches and mental health first aid specialists, for free.

Project Displaced now enters the final round of the Awards - the NSW State Finals - which will be held on 26 November.
